Welcome to the online presence of Serenity Empowerment Services, a company that exists to empower individuals, families and organisations to acheive excellence in their lives and services. The company was established in 2006 out of a vision to counteract the powerlessness that many people were experiencing due to the internal struggles they were having based on their own belief systems. It was apparent that many people limited themselves to the mundane when in truth they possessed the ability to achieve what others may consider to be unachievable. Serenity has a three-prong approach to empowerment: 1. Personal and Corporate Coaching 2. Family and Individual Counselling 3. Training and Development. The broad categories incorporates the many programmes and initiatives that can be accessed for you, your family or your organisation. |

 The Manager, Derek A. Ward, is an ordained minister with the Church of God of Prophecy, who is trained in counselling and social work. He also brings a wealth of experience in social services having worked with the Juvenile Liaison Scheme (RBPF), Child Care Board and the National Council on Substance Abuse.
As part of his formal training in social work, Mr. Ward undertook three internships at the Coalition Against Substance Abuse, the Welfare Department and Verdun House - A Place of healing for addictions. Rev. Ward is also a part-time counsellor and facilitator with Network Services Centre Inc. |
